Cookie policy
Placiva uses essential browser storage for preferences, security, and tools. Optional analytics stays off unless you accept it.
This page explains the browser storage used by Placiva. Some storage works like cookies, and some uses local storage in your browser.
What Placiva stores
| Storage | Purpose | Required? | How to control it |
|---|---|---|---|
| Session and CSRF data | Helps protect forms and keep a secure browser session while you use the site. | Yes for forms and admin-protected pages. | Clear site data in your browser to remove it. |
| Cookie preference local storage | Remembers whether you accepted or rejected optional analytics. | Yes for remembering your choice. | Use the cookie preferences button or clear site data. |
| Project brief draft local storage | Saves your calculator, explorer, or project brief draft in your browser so you can continue or print it. | Only when you use those tools. | Clear the draft by clearing site data in your browser. Placiva does not receive it unless you submit a form. |
| Optional analytics events | Loads Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity, then records allowed public page and interaction events after you accept analytics. | No. | Reject optional analytics or use Global Privacy Control where supported. |
Optional analytics
Optional analytics helps Placiva understand which public tools, pages, and calls to action are useful. When accepted, Placiva may load Google Analytics measurement ID G-PMC5QDJ5RS and Microsoft Clarity project xnhz64b9xx. Public forms are marked for Clarity masking. Analytics does not intentionally include your form field contents, project notes, name, email, phone number, medical details, or budget notes.
If you reject optional analytics, the public site, guides, calculator, project brief, and request form should still work.
Global Privacy Control
If your browser sends Global Privacy Control or a similar privacy signal, Placiva treats that as a rejection of optional analytics where practical.
Separate consent choices
- Cookie choices are about browser storage and optional analytics.
- Provider sharing consent is separate and appears near the request form.
- Email follow-up consent is separate and appears near the request form.
- Provider sponsor inquiry consent is separate and appears near the provider form.
Third-party cookies
Placiva uses Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity only after optional analytics consent. Ad pixels, remarketing tags, embedded social widgets, checkout tools, and financing application widgets are not part of the public site as configured. If those are added later, this page should be updated before they are relied on.
